Accessibility statement

LocalGlendale.com is committed to making our guide usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we've done

  • Semantic landmarks, a single main region, and a skip-to-content link.
  • Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators on every control.
  • Accessible names on icon-only buttons and descriptive text alternatives on images.
  • Color contrast that meets AA, and information never conveyed by color alone.
  • Tap targets sized for touch, and layouts that reflow down to 320px.
  • Respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference.

Accessibility tools

The accessibility button in the bottom-left corner of every page opens a panel where you can enlarge text, switch on high contrast, underline links, reduce motion, use a more readable font, or enlarge the cursor. Your choices are saved on your device.
